4. Bread and Friends

The view into the Bread & Friends kitchen makes passers-by stop in their tracks. Inside, they knead bread and craft beautiful examples of fine pastry. The interior unfolds with one of the walls made entirely of glass. The idea is to make the process completely transparent and invite customers to follow the production — both of the long-fermentation bread and the signature pastries — and the selection is extensive.

The concept belongs to the Sana group, which didn’t forget the very Portuguese habit of drinking coffee and also invested in a roasting machine, installed right at the entrance.
